Jane Stockel has worked with color all her life. As principal of Jane Stockel Designs, she consults to companies throughout the world on home/interiors, design trends and colors.
Stockel is renowned for specializing in the nuances of color, texture, horticultural themes, fashion trends and eco-directions, helping her clients translate these elements into global assortments. She is also an expert trend tracker and follows the Chelsea Flower show in London to help her clients understand the importance of glass for both decorative and practical uses in horticultural and contract spaces.
Studying and forecasting trends in ecosystems, sustainability and water conservation, Stockel is a sought-after speaker on subjects ranging from the links between responsible horticulture, interior and exterior décor, and garden design, as well as the health and welfare of bees. This expertise has taken Stockel all over the world. She has contributed to the design panel for the Design and Decoration Trade Show, held annually in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. She has been a guest speaker for the China Fashion and Color Association in Beijing.
Stockel is a longtime chair of Color Marketing Group and has served on its board of directors. She is also an editorial correspondent at The Trend Curve for which she shares specialized trend information. She also works as a design and marketing consultant at Tropical Green in Hong Kong and Large Circle in Shenyang, China.
